Baseball America updated it’s top 100 prospect list and the Brewers saw all of their prospects move up in them.

(20) Lewis Brinson — up 7 spots from #27

(31) Josh Hader — Up 2 spots from #33

(36) Corey Ray — Up 6 spots from #42

(73) Luis Ortiz — Up 6 spots from #79

RHP Luis Ortiz is only 21 years old

(74) Brandon Woodruff — Up 8 spots from #82

(87) Isan Diaz — Up 6 spots from #93

Keep in mind that while the Brewers have great representation in the top 100, if these publications did a top 200 or a top 250, I think you’d be stunned at how many Brewers prospects would find themselves in there. Names like Mauricio Dubon, Ryan Cordell, Lucas Erceg, Trent Clark, Jake Gatewood, Corbin Burnes, Jorge Lopez, Brett Phillips and others would all have a chance to be on that list.

Also, MLB.com’s Jim Callis released his latest mock draft for June’s amateur draft.

Callis has the Brewers taking high school OF prospect at #9 (Austin Beck of Lexington, NC). According to Callis, the Brewers have had their eyes on a lot of HS players for that #9 spot including a couple of left handed arms.
